On 15th August 2023, we celebrated the 77th Independence Day of our country. It is the day on which we commemorate the nation’s independence from British rule. The celebration started with the flag hoisting ceremony. The principal delivered an Independence Day message, followed by the chanting of ‘Lokah Samastah Sukhino Bhavantu’ (may all beings everywhere be happy and free) nine times.
Students from different grades came up with speech, patriotic song, and dance. Girls from grades VIII and IX performed a fusion dance to patriotic songs which portrayed the vital aspects of India and its unity in diversity. Boys from Grade IX performed a mime on Incredible India. The celebration concluded with prayer and national anthem.
