A session on Magic of Confidence Building and Academic Counselling was conducted on 28th April, 2022 a tour school by the faculties of AMRITA EDGE, an initiative of Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetam concentrating on civil service training, NEET + JEE coaching and various other bridge courses.
The session started by lighting of the lamp at the holy feet of AMMA which was followed by the prayer and the welcome speech by Aavani of XII std. The session was a very interesting one as Mr. Rajamoorthy Sir(Director of the Acadamy of Magical Sciences and a member of the International Brotherhood of Magicians, USA) started it with a magical trick which enthralled the students. Sir explained various ways to build confidence with a lot of examples and fist hand experiences. He concluded the session by 10 magic points which a person has to follow in his /her life to be a happy person.
The next section of the session was taken over by Mr. Alan Sam Philip (Academic Manager, Amrita Edge) who explained about the importance of foundation courses which is exclusively designed for Amrita Vidyalayam students under Amma’s guidance. Mr. Midhun Kumar (faculty and Quality Assurance Manager, Amrita Edge) explained to the students about the various courses available under the Amrita banner.
As a whole, the entire session helped students understand a whole lot about their needs and how to go about it. The session ended with a vote of thanks by Sivanandha Jeevanathan of class X.
