Amrita Vidyalayam, Kuthuparamba, celebrated Dr. Abdul Kalam’s birthday, observed as World Students’ Day on October 15, with great enthusiasm. The event began with an inspiring speech by a Class VIII student, tracing Dr. Kalam’s extraordinary journey from a small-town boy to India’s “Missile Man” and 11th President. Students showcased their creativity through a vibrant bulletin board display, adorned with charts and photos depicting Dr. Kalam’s life and achievements. A science quiz was also conducted for Class VIII, promoting knowledge and a spirit of scientific inquiry. The celebration was a heartfelt tribute to Dr. Kalam’s vision of empowering students and inspiring them to become responsible citizens.
