The Sree Krishna Jayanti celebration at Amrita Vidyalayam Kuthuparamba was a vibrant and colourful event that brought together students, parents, and staff in a joyful atmosphere. The program began with the lighting of the lamp, symbolizing the auspicious start of the festivities. The young students from KG, Grade I, and Grade II dressed in beautiful Radha-Krishna costumes, adding charm and authenticity to the event.
The stage was elegantly decorated with an idol of Lord Krishna, creating a divine ambiance for the celebrations. The event featured various cultural programs, including the traditional game of Uriyadi, where participants enthusiastically competed to break the pot. There were captivating dance performances by the students of KG, 6th, and 9th standards, which enthralled the audience.
The highlight of the event was the procession organized by senior students, featuring Radha, Krishna and other characters from Krishna’s life. This procession was a visual treat, adding to the festive spirit of the day. A special photo session was arranged at a beautifully decorated swing, allowing students and parents to capture memorable moments.
As a gesture of sharing and togetherness, payasam was served as prasad to all the parents and students, bringing the community together in a moment of gratitude and celebration.
