A child’s overall growth includes physical and mental health. The school, the second home for the child, gives importance to the child’s health also.
An eye check-up camp was conducted at our school by the Eye Department of Kannur Ayurveda hospital. Eye screening was done for students of classes VI to XII to check their vision. An awareness class was also conducted for the students. Defects in vision, eye exercises, etc., were demonstrated through a PPT presentation. Defects caused by TV and mobile were discussed. Five doctors from the hospital offered their services at the camp, and the doctors themselves informed the parents about the diagnosis of their children. The check-up was done for our teachers as well.
