Karkidaka Masam is the twelfth month in the Malayalam calendar, and is also called Ramayana Masam. This year, it starts on July 17th and ends on August 16th. During this month, the sacred scripture Ramayana is recited. It is recited in the school before interval every day, until the last day of the month.
