Annual Day celebration for the academic year 2022-23 was organised on April 5, 2023. The celebration started with the lighting of the lamp at the holy feet of Amma to invoke Her blessings. The Guest of Honour for the occasion, Shri K.P. Mohanan, MLA Kuthuparamba gave the benedictory address. Ward Councillor, Kuthuparamba Municipality, Mrs. Girija, offered felicitations. Our Principal, Vidhya G. read out the annual report to everyone present.
Prize distribution ceremony was conducted during the inaugural session. Proficiency prizes for the academic year 2022-23 were awarded to students from Std. I to Std. XII. Sahodaya Merit certificates, Olympiad medals and certificates, Prathibha Hindi scholarship awards, as well as awards for kabaddi and football champions, Best House and runners-up were also distributed during this session.
The annual extravaganza started with the kiddies dances. It was a real treat to the eyes to watch a variety of dance performances with which the tiny tots entertained the audience. This was followed by performances by our junior and senior students. They enthralled the audience with a variety of dance forms, moving from classical to folk and then to cinematic and comedy dance. Skits and dramas also gave a perfect ambience to the day. To add to the beauty of the day, we had student anchors compering with energy packed enthusiasm. A dance presented by our teachers made it delightful, and another dance performance of the AVSAR tailoring and beautician course trainees made the day even more colorful. Overall, it was a wonderful show put up by the combined efforts of all the students, staff, and Principal of our school.
