Our 75th Independence Day was celebrated with pomp and splendor all over India. ‘Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav’ as it was rightly named encouraged ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ and celebration throughout India to mark the 75th year of India’s independence.
Our school too celebrated this great occasion with enthusiasm. The programme started with prayer and was followed by the assembly. Chief Guest Brahmakumari Meenakshiji, head of the Prajapita Iswariya Viswa Vidyalaya inaugurated the function. The inaugural speech was a guideline for the students which gave importance to the tricolor flag and positive thinking.
The national flag was hoisted by the Chief Guest and the Principal Ma’am in the presence of the Vice-principal and Physical Education instructor. After the flag hoisting ceremony, children presented patriotic songs, speech, mime etc. expressing their patriotism towards their nation.
Our Chief Guest also took time to tie Raksha Bhandan bracelets for all the teachers, and distributed sweets for all on this great day.
