Gurupoornima is celebrated to mark the birthday of Sage Vyasa. This day is auspicious for every student as we pay our respect to our Gurus. In our school, we celebrated Gurupoonima and Mathrupooja on 30th July 2022. Bri. Vidhya, our Principal Ma’am presided over the function.
The ceremony started in the prayer hall where all the students were seated with their parents for the pooja. Principal Ma’am performed the pooja at the lotus feet of Amma and the lighted lamp was passed to the parents. The prayer hall vibrated with the chantings of astotharam. Principal Ma’am gave directions to the students for performing the pooja. The whole atmosphere was filled with the positive vibration of prayers. After the Mathrupooja celebration was over, Principal Ma’am sang bhajans of Amma and the session ended with satsang and distribution of prasadam to all the students, parents and staff.
