On behalf of the school Swachhata campaign, our school organized a poster making competition for classes I through XII on November 12, 2015. In the senior category (IX-XII), the theme for the poster was based on “I will initiate the quest for cleanliness with myself, my family, my locality, my village and my workplace. I believe that the countries of the world that appear clean are so because their citizens do not indulge in littering nor do they allow it to happen. With this firm belief, I will propagate the message of Swachh Bharat Mission in villages and towns”. In the upper primary category (VI – VIII), the topic given was ‘Ignorance about bathroom etiquette in public toilets by some could turn off others and divert them to open defecation’. The topic for the primary category (I – V) was, ‘A small step by each student can make the whole school and surroundings a clean and joyful place for everyone’. The best posters were selected from these and sent along with entry form to the Education Officer, New Delhi.
