As part of National Bird Watching Day celebrations this year which marked the 116th birth anniversary of the renowned biologist Salim Ali, the Bird Feeding Club conducted various competitions and activities on November 12, 2015. For classes I to V, a pencil drawing competition was conducted in their classes on the topic “Bird”. A preliminary quiz competition was conducted for classes VI and VII. Toppers from each class were selected, and the final quiz competition was conducted on the topic, Nature and Bird. Classes VIII and IX made useful items like nests and feeding bowls for birds out of coconut shells and other biodegradable materials. Students of Class X collected informative articles related to birds, which were put up on the notice board for other students to read.
