Our school observed Global Hand Washing Day on November 9, 2015. Srivarshini R. of class 10 gave a talk about the importance of hand washing in the morning assembly. A pledge was also taken by the school Head Boy asking students to clean their hands regularly, and to inspire their parents and friends to do the same. An awareness class about the need for hand washing and a demonstration of how to wash hands with soap was given to children from class 1 to 5. This class was handled by Mrs. Nibha, a science faculty of our school. Children enjoyed the class and they started following the method to clean their hands. Soap holders with soap were fixed in the wash areas on all four floors to facilitate hand washing.
