The growing importance of the universal language, English in today’s world cannot be understated. A good command of the language helps students to shape their future.
We at SB Global and Amrita Vidyalayam, Kuthuparamba are teaming up to recognize this need and train students from 1st standard to 10th standard to be better communicators. Training sessions will be conducted by two trainers from SB Global who will deliver the content prepared by the company through activity-based learning.
As part of the Communicative English Value Addition Programme conducted by SB Global, a ‘Weekly Activity’ was initiated during the morning assembly.
‘Caption Contest’: During the Independence Day week, two pictures were displayed on the notice board for primary and secondary sections. Students were asked to come up with creative captions for each picture. The winners of this contest were announced in the assembly on September 11, 2015.
Class representatives were appointed for each class from standard 1 through 10 to coordinate CE activities in future.
