At Amrita Vidyalayam, Kuthuparamba, we have strived hard to reach higher levels of recognition in the area of vegetable farming. We are proud to say that we have been awarded A+ for our terrace farming venture. The State Level inauguration of Malayala Manorama’s “Krishimuttam” Project was inaugurated at our school by the Honourable Minister of Agriculture, Sri K.P Mohanan. The beauty and charm of terrace farming can be seen on the terrace of our school where we emphasize organic farming methods.
Our school also promotes projects on serving the needy through our involvement in charitable activities. We make sure that every month we visit Aadivasi colonies, orphanages and homes of the needy, and help them in whatever way possible. Mrs. A.P. Zindhagi and Mrs. U.S. Sajitha are our coordinators for these endeavours.
