Amrita Vidyalayam, Kuthuparamba organized a wonderful Sports Day for our children on the 19th and 20th of January, 2015.
National badminton player Mr. Manjush was the guest of honour. The morning of the 19th saw the sports flag being raised which was the official start of the Sports Day celebrations.
On the first day (19th Jan), the selection of students for the finals of various events like chess, carrom and badminton were done. We also witnessed the 100mts and 400mts dash for primary and higher secondary students. The preliminaries of high jump and long jump were also conducted on the same day.
The second day (20th Jan) saw the finals of chess, carrom and badminton. On the tracks we had the 800mts dash and relay events which were really entertaining for the rest of the students.
The end of the second day was highlighted by the prize distribution ceremony.
