A trip to Sneha Nikethan at Palaparamba near Thokilangadi was conducted on the 30th of December, 2014 by students of class IV and teachers. Though the inmates were well fed and clothed, it was felt that they seemed to be longing for love and care.
These people who had taken care of their families during their good times, are now left alone in such old age homes to share their feelings with their peers. The sight melted the hearts of the teachers as well as the students. The children decided never to create such a situation in their families.
More than the sweets and fruits that we distributed, the senior citizens here enjoyed the beautiful moments that they shared with the children.
Their tearful kisses will be cherished by our children forever.
