On the 19th of Dec, 2014, a group of students and teachers visited the 40 families at Valayamchalil colony in Kanichar.
These adivasis get a lot of help from the government and have homes that are built well. They also earn around Rs.500 to Rs. 600 per day. The main purpose of this second visit was to conduct a survey on the living conditions and requirements of these people. They accepted our gifts of clothing with all their heart, and our teachers offered them help with selling their hand made goods in the future.
